Collection: About Erinn

Hello!  A little bit about me...  I am drawn to structures and ideas that are both catalysts for change and growth inhibitors.  The in between moments before change are compelling to me.

I am interested in how these choices affect trajectory in our physical environments and our emotional environments.

Aware of my surroundings of constant growth and development, challenging myself to welcome new systems, realizing connections, and missed connections, I am thoughtfully reflecting on my own evolution.

At three years old, I knew I would be an artist when I grew up.  I grew up in Maplewood, NJ.  My introduction to painting was in college and I loved it.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts specializing in Painting.  After a nine-year break from painting, I recently started painting, again.  I often paint at night, well into the night, because I find it hard to stop once I start.

I have worked as a Fashion Designer and Project Manager for over 20 years.  I have also worked as an Art Educator, Sign Painter, Restoration Painter, and Framer.  I love interior design and have designed some spaces from completely unfinished to quite nice.  I presently live in Maplewood, NJ with my husband and three children.
